Well Engineering Training Level 1

ABOUT the Course
The "Basic Well Engineering (Well Engineering Level-1)" course provides participants with a solid foundation in well engineering principles and practices. Covering topics from drilling operations and well design to safety considerations and well control, this course equips participants with the essential knowledge and skills required to excel in the field of well engineering. By the end of the course, participants will have a clear understanding of the well engineering process and be prepared to contribute effectively to well engineering projects.

  • Introduction to Well Engineering: Participants will gain a foundational understanding of well engineering concepts, including the lifecycle of a well, types of wells, and the role of a well engineer in the oil and gas industry.

  • Drilling Operations and Techniques: This module will cover the basic principles and techniques involved in drilling operations, including drilling rig components, drilling fluids, and drilling equipment.

  • Well Design and Planning: Participants will learn the fundamentals of well design, including casing and tubing design, well trajectory planning, and the importance of well integrity.

  • Well Control and Pressure Management: Participants will be introduced to the principles of well control, including primary and secondary well control methods, kick detection, and pressure management techniques.
