Well Engineering Training Level 2

ABOUT
The "Advanced Well Engineering" course provides participants with advanced knowledge and practical skills in well construction, including drilling techniques, wellbore stability, casing and cementing design, well control, and real-time data monitoring and analysis. By covering advanced topics and techniques, this course ensures that participants are well-equipped to tackle complex challenges in well engineering and optimize drilling operations in challenging environments.

  • Advanced Drilling Techniques: Participants will gain advanced knowledge of drilling techniques, including horizontal drilling, extended reach drilling, and managed pressure drilling (MPD), to optimize well construction in challenging environments.

  • Wellbore Stability and Geomechanics: The course will cover advanced topics in wellbore stability and geomechanics, including stress analysis, rock mechanics, and mitigation strategies for wellbore instability.

  • Advanced Casing and Cementing Design: Participants will learn advanced techniques for casing and cementing design, including casing seat selection, centralization, and advanced cementing additives for improved zonal isolation.

  • Advanced Well Control and Blowout Prevention: The course will cover advanced well control principles and techniques, including dynamic kill methods, advanced BOP systems, and well control simulations to prepare participants for complex well control scenarios.
