The "Kill Well on Simulator" course provides participants with comprehensive training in well control using advanced simulation technology. Covering fundamental principles, detailed procedures, and hands-on practice with various well control scenarios, this course equips participants with the skills and confidence to manage well control situations effectively. Emphasizing decision-making, teamwork, and emergency response, participants will be prepared to handle real-world well control challenges safely and efficiently.
Understanding Well Control Fundamentals: Participants will gain a thorough understanding of well control principles, including kick detection, causes of kicks, and primary and secondary well control methods.
Mastering Well Control Procedures: The course will teach participants the detailed procedures for shutting in a well, circulating out a kick, and bringing the well back under control using different well control methods such as Driller’s Method, Wait and Weight Method, and Volumetric Method.
Hands-On Simulator Training: Participants will use advanced drilling simulators to practice well control techniques in a controlled, virtual environment. This hands-on experience will cover a range of scenarios, from routine kicks to more complex and emergency situations.
